The M.S. in Statistics Program concentrates on creating advanced statistical models and deploying them on powerful computing systems. Its curriculum blends practical applications, computational techniques, and theoretical foundations, with special focus on biostatistics/informatics and analytics. Faculty and graduate students engage in research spanning bioinformatics, biostatistics, business and financial analytics, forensic statistics, and general statistics. This program excels at equipping graduates for careers in business, industry, or government, while also providing strong preparation for pursuing a CSS Ph.D. or other doctoral programs.
Student must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 to receive unconditional admission.
A minimum TOEFL score of 575 paper-based, 197 computer-based, or 90 - 91 Internet based, or IELTS score of 6.0.
