The Stage & Screen Acting Certificate of Proficiency provides foundational training in audition techniques and performance for theater, film, television, and digital media. Shoreline Community College collaborates with industry experts through local advisory boards to deliver relevant, employer-sought skills. Those aiming for a bachelor's degree should consult either the Cinema, Film and Media Studies Pre-Major AA-DTA Planning Guide or the Drama/Theatre Arts Pre-Major AA-DTA Planning Guide.
Develop core audition and acting techniques for stage and screen productions. Gain practical experience through theatrical performances and digital film projects while learning from working professionals.
