Get ready for an Anthropology major by completing suggested courses that meet transfer degree prerequisites. Anthropology explores humans and primates from biological, social, and cultural perspectives throughout history and geography. This interdisciplinary field encompasses four primary branches: archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology. By examining these interconnected areas, students develop a comprehensive understanding of human diversity in both culture and biology, as well as our ongoing environmental adaptations. The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) is included in Shoreline's General Transfer program, fulfilling the initial two-year requirements for most bachelor's degrees.
