The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) program provides students with a thorough curriculum that serves as the critical groundwork for guiding future healthcare systems and institutions. This 42-credit program features a rigorous and up-to-date course structure, updated yearly according to student input and evolving industry demands. It combines theoretical knowledge with modern practical approaches to healthcare leadership, management, and policy.
Our Goal: Designed with students in mind, the MHA equips early and mid-career professionals from varied backgrounds with the skills to become effective healthcare managers and leaders across diverse organizations. Available both on-campus and online/hybrid, this core program highlights hands-on learning experiences, upholds Seton Hall University's Catholic values, and aims to cultivate the professionalism and ethical principles essential for servant leadership. Completion of the Seton Hall University graduate school admission application
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
Minimum 3.0 (on 4.0 scale) cumulative GPA on most recently conferred degree. However, for those applicants whose GPAs fall in the 2.8 to 2.99 range, consideration can be given to professional experience working in healthcare. Students below 2.8 are not encouraged to apply.
Academic transcripts from institutions outside of the United States or Canada must undergo a course-by-course evaluation conducted by an independent credentials evaluation agency, that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) can also be accepted documenting a score in the 6.5 band or above.
