Participants cultivate analytical skills to examine Jewish-Christian relations while learning to navigate intricate religious, moral, and societal challenges to advance justice and reconciliation. Alumni pursue paths ranging from advanced biblical research to various interfaith and cross-cultural engagements - including teaching, ecumenical leadership, and theological education. As the pioneering program of its kind in America, it provides both thesis-based and coursework-focused degree tracks.

Seton Hall University's Jewish-Christian Studies program serves as a distinctive alternative to conventional History or Education degrees, particularly for teachers addressing New Jersey's Holocaust and genocide education requirements. The curriculum equips Jewish studies scholars with focused expertise, nurturing comprehensive insight into Jewish-Christian interactions that can be immediately implemented in classrooms. Educators who complete this specialized Jewish studies program gain the necessary tools to teach these vital subjects with authority and effectiveness.
