The College of Nursing provides a 42-credit post-master's program, plus dissertation guidance, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (Ph.D.) degree. The Ph.D. curriculum includes core and elective courses covering nursing science, research methodologies, and dissertation preparation. Students may select courses from the College of Nursing or approved offerings from other university departments with program director approval. Each student will specialize in a research area, leading to a dissertation that advances theory in academic, clinical, or healthcare leadership settings. Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate and master's degree programs in nursing with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
