Curious about what drives consumer decisions? Wondering why someone might purchase a new DVD player rather than upgrade an old television? Or how a 10% price hike affects purchasing behavior? An economics career could be your calling. Economists examine the decision-making processes of both individuals and nations. As an economics student at Seton Hall, you'll sharpen your quantitative and analytical abilities through rigorous, objective academic exploration, covering diverse economic theories including Keynesian, Post-Keynesian, and Neo-Classical approaches. Our alumni have built thriving careers across finance, corporate sectors, and government institutions—from investment firms and banks to insurance providers and the Federal Reserve. Many have also advanced to doctoral studies.
