The Master of Laws (LLM) Program welcomes applicants holding a law degree from the U.S. or internationally. Students can choose between two specialized tracks. The American Legal Studies LLM allows for concentrated study of the U.S. legal framework while offering diverse elective options. Alternatively, the Technology and Innovation LLM provides specialized training in a rapidly growing legal sector, particularly relevant in Seattle's thriving tech industry. Both programs include opportunities for practical experience through placements with more than 400 legal employers in Seattle that collaborate with Seattle U LLM students. Designed for both international legal professionals and U.S.-trained attorneys seeking specialization in privacy, cybersecurity, digital commerce, and fintech, this program enables legal practitioners to gain expertise in cutting-edge legal fields.
