This combined program integrates the expertise, facilities, and curricula of a prestigious law school and leading seminary, equipping students for diverse leadership roles. Alumni will gain qualifications for conventional legal practice and religious ministry, while also developing skills applicable to nonprofit sectors—especially human rights initiatives—and legal advocacy for marginalized communities.

Prospective JD/MDiv candidates must apply separately and gain admission to both the Law School and George W. Truett Theological Seminary. After dual acceptance, students formally declare their joint degree intentions to the Seminary's Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Law School's Associate Dean.
