Our diverse, cross-disciplinary program pushes you intellectually, emotionally, and socially to become an advocate for equity and systemic change. The curriculum equips you with tools to constructively address gender and sexuality matters affecting both people and communities. Grounded in cutting-edge scholarship, feminist, gender, and sexuality studies critically examines societal norms surrounding diverse gender expressions and sexual identities shaped by cultural and historical contexts. Our program explores worldwide feminist and queer activism, the origins of gender disparities, knowledge power structures, LGBTQ+ political struggles, moral and religious perspectives on gender rights, and the interconnected systems of racial, sexual, economic, and colonial oppression.
