Focusing on the intersection of economics and business, the Albers Bachelor of Business Administration (BABA) in Economics program offers an in-depth exploration of economic principles, business policies, and strategic decision-making. Tailored for aspiring problem-solvers in both corporate and government settings, our curriculum strengthens students' abilities in analysis, quantitative reasoning, critical evaluation, and effective communication. Our committed faculty members guide you in building the competencies required for principled leadership. Furthermore, the Economics Department benefits from an advisory panel comprising regional economists across private, public, and nonprofit organizations. Collaborating with these specialists indirectly enriches student learning. For example, insights from our advisory board and industry professionals have led faculty to design coursework that builds employer-sought skills. Graduates leave prepared to utilize their acquired expertise in advanced studies or careers spanning economics, data analysis, legal fields, business management, public service, and various commercial sectors.
BABA and BA major in Economics students who have 90 credits and who have not met the stated cumulative grade point average and basic course requirements for junior status are subject to dismissal from the Albers School of Business and Economics.
