Those pursuing this specialized track frequently transition to four-year institutions offering Global Health programs or enter allied international/health fields with a Global Health minor. Upon completing this program, students will demonstrate the ability to: Outline contemporary global health concerns, their root causes, and potential solutions across local and global contexts Examine how socioeconomic and cultural influences shape health outcomes and development Assess cultural dimensions affecting wellness, including cross-cultural communication strategies Evaluate how historical, geographical, religious, political, and cultural factors contribute to worldwide health issues.
