The MArch with a Track in Interior Architecture equips students with comprehensive architectural knowledge while cultivating specialized skills for the evolving interior architecture field.
Master of Architecture students explore architectural design's history, theory, and methods, acquiring professional competencies and critical analysis abilities to innovate and advance the architectural discipline.
Our MArch curriculum emphasizes experiential learning through investigation, testing, and discovery. The program blends design studios focused on contemporary themes, technical instruction in construction systems, professional training, and elective studies in architectural history and theory. We urge MArch candidates to broaden their practice through cross-departmental courses at SAIC and participation in AIADO's External Partnership offerings. During their final year, students undertake an intensive comprehensive studio and develop an independent thesis project with guidance from department faculty.
