The Business Administration program equips students with comprehensive business expertise across key areas like managerial oversight, corporate economics, personnel management, workplace relations, commercial risks, government-business regulations, and supply chain operations. This curriculum offers learners a broad perspective on core business disciplines such as accounting, financial management, economic principles, sales strategies, organizational leadership, and business creation.
The AS-T in Business Administration 2.0 establishes fundamental business competencies that prepare students to seamlessly advance into a Bachelor's program at any CSU institution. The Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T/AS-T), unique to California Community Colleges, guarantees admission to a CSU campus in a related field (though not necessarily a specific location). AA-T/AS-T graduates receive preferential treatment when applying to comparable CSU programs and enjoy GPA benefits for competitive campuses or majors. Prospective AA-T/AS-T candidates should consult with an academic counselor to fully understand this transfer pathway's requirements and benefits.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
