The Radiography Program equips students for careers as licensed radiographers. After completing the program, graduates can pursue positions in hospitals, imaging facilities, and medical clinics, where they capture diagnostic X-rays for physician review. Following licensure, additional training opportunities exist in specialized areas like Ultrasound, MRI, and CT scanning. Career paths also extend to industrial sectors, including quality assurance and R&D roles. California State University, Northridge provides Bachelor of Science degrees in both Radiography and Health Science.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
