To earn an Associate in Arts Degree, students need to complete at least sixty (60) units that meet General Education, SBCC, and department criteria. The Natural History program offers a comprehensive overview of Earth's biological diversity, exploring evolutionary connections and environmental interactions. Through strategic elective selection, students can focus on specific transfer-oriented fields such as aquatic biology, zoology, botany, ecology, or environmental biology.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
