The Computer Network Engineering program is designed for individuals seeking to specialize in computer network design and technical support.
Learning Objectives -
Utilize fundamental hardware and software principles to install, diagnose, and administer home and small office network systems.
Design, troubleshoot, and sustain network infrastructures for small-to-medium businesses by implementing proper IP addressing schemes and selecting suitable networking components.
Recognize potential security risks in network systems, select appropriate protective solutions, and implement safeguards to prevent network breaches.
When faced with network challenges, employ analytical reasoning, troubleshooting methods, and clear communication to develop effective solutions.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
