Multimedia represents both an academic discipline and a growing industry born from the integration of diverse media forms and their creation methods. The rise and proliferation of digital communication technologies, particularly online platforms, along with the demand for content creation and multi-device distribution, has led to this intersection commonly known as new media, digital media, or multimedia.
The Multimedia Arts program cultivates students' artistic and technical abilities through instruction in cutting-edge software, production techniques, theoretical foundations, and conceptual frameworks. This curriculum equips learners for careers in applied media fields or for transitioning to advanced media studies at four-year colleges. Our coursework provides students with fundamental training in artistic principles, design thinking, and practical skills for media creation, production, and dissemination.
