Through the Liberal Arts and Sciences Emphasis in Science and Mathematics Degree, students will explore diverse coursework to establish fundamental knowledge in mathematics and natural sciences. Learners will examine, evaluate, and apply key concepts, theories, and methods from these fields while exploring their historical impact on human progress. The program also cultivates analytical abilities, quantitative reasoning proficiency, and research techniques.
Popular university majors under the Science and Mathematics Emphasis encompass Astronomy, Astrophysics, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Physics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environmental Studies, Physical Geography, Geological Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics, among others.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
