Earning a Liberal Arts and Sciences degree with an Arts and Humanities focus introduces students to interdisciplinary studies crucial for comprehending modern society, diverse populations, and cultural traditions. Learners will examine, evaluate, and contextualize significant philosophical texts, historical events, literary works, artistic creations, and cultural artifacts spanning human civilization to gain deeper insights into societal evolution, historical contexts, existential questions, and creative expression. The program also encourages exploration of various artistic, intellectual, and cultural forms of communication. Typical Arts and Humanities concentrations encompass fields such as English, Ethnic Studies, Film Studies, Fine Arts, Foreign Languages, History, Humanities, Music, Philosophy, and Theatre Arts, among others.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
