Interior Design centers on crafting indoor spaces that are both practical and aesthetically appealing. This discipline provides diverse career paths in design and architecture firms, kitchen and bath specialty studios, as well as home furnishings and material retailers. Professionals in this field typically need formal education, hands-on experience, and successful completion of the NCIDQ examination.
The SBCC Interior Design Program, housed in the Drafting/CAD Department, delivers thorough preparation for beginner roles in the industry. All classes are led by certified instructors with professional expertise. Each Interior Design (ID) course completed grants full academic credits. With an open admission approach, these classes welcome both ID program students and those pursuing other fields of study.
