The Master of Science in Statistics equips students for careers as professional statisticians across business, government, and industrial sectors. The curriculum combines statistical theory with practical applications, offering training in advanced methodologies while focusing on developing strong writing and communication abilities through hands-on project work. Developed in collaboration with industry partners, this program directly aligns with current professional demands.
Applicants holding undergraduate degrees in engineering, sciences, economics, business, social sciences, or other quantitative fields are ideal candidates. Mathematics or statistics graduates are also encouraged to apply to further enhance their technical expertise and theoretical knowledge.
U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53. GRE General test required.
