The Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting prepares students for professional conducting careers or advanced study through an intensive two-year, 30-unit program. The curriculum emphasizes personalized conducting instruction, advanced seminars, instrumental training, and hands-on experience with the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band. Academic coursework covers music research, history, and theory, culminating in Written Culminating Exams and a full-length conducting recital performance.
