University Advanced Certificate Requirements
Designed for post-baccalaureate learners, advanced certificate programs deliver targeted coursework for specialized professional objectives. Admission requires completing an intake form or applying via CalState Apply, along with submitting official transcripts (demonstrating a U.S. bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or its international equivalent). A minimum 2.5 undergraduate GPA is mandatory.
Students must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have a GPA of at least 2.5 (where A=4).
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53. General test recommended for all applicants but required of those whose cumulative undergraduate GPA was below 3.0 (but above the university graduate-school minimum of 2.5).
