Amidst constantly evolving social, political, and economic landscapes, we steadfastly uphold our dedication to scholarly distinction, civic engagement, and policy-oriented research. Our academic programs include bachelor's and master's degrees in justice studies, a forensic science bachelor's program, and minor options in both justice studies and legal studies. Our distinguished faculty members lead research initiatives covering diverse subjects such as human rights, migration patterns, gender-based violence, sexual offender psychology, domestic abuse, DNA analysis techniques, and policing impacts on Latino and African American communities. Student organizations feature Alpha Phi Sigma, Chi Pi Sigma, and the Forensic Science Club. Alumni pursue careers in probation services, correctional facilities, police departments, forensic laboratories, nonprofit organizations, or further their education through law school or advanced degree programs.
