The Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science program equips students for professional roles in forensic science, holding accreditation from the Forensic Science Educational Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC) under the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Participants gain expertise in crime scene analysis, forensic chemistry, toxicology, biology, firearms examination, and fire debris investigation. The coursework is supplemented by hands-on internships at forensic labs, with past students securing placements at organizations like the FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Hillsborough County Medical Examiner's Office, Pinellas County Crime Lab, Defense Forensic Science Center, and National Forensic Science Technology Center. Graduates are well-prepared for advanced studies in forensic science, chemistry, toxicology, biochemistry, or health-related fields, with program alumni successfully entering medical and pharmacy schools.
