The Computer Engineering Bachelor of Science (CMPE) program, administered by the Computer Engineering Department, extends beyond coding to incorporate engineering principles and practical project work. This curriculum equips students for careers as engineering professionals, innovators, and business founders. Subjects cover everything from hardware architecture and embedded solutions to software development, including real-time platforms, virtual environments, and corporate software solutions. The coursework blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on training in cutting-edge technologies, system design, validation processes, and practical computing applications to develop comprehensive hardware and software expertise. Graduates are highly sought after by technology firms. Our graduates pursue careers in hardware/software development, testing, integrated system design, operating systems, specialized applications, and quality assurance at various Silicon Valley organizations, from emerging startups to major corporations. ABET's Engineering Accreditation Commission has granted accreditation to this program. The curriculum focuses on implementing systems and software solutions in practical settings.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 80 (IBT), Paper based – 550; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
