The Biochemistry specialization, provided by the Chemistry Department, prepares students for advanced studies in biochemistry, medical school, or similar disciplines, as well as for professional roles in industrial or government research settings. Participants must fulfill all core major and Undergraduate University Graduation Requirements, encompassing credit hours, grade point averages, residency conditions, along with specified General Education, American Institutions, Graduation Writing Assessment, and Physical Education prerequisites. Courses satisfying Undergraduate University Graduation Requirements are marked with specific area codes (refer to Course Abbreviations).
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
