These immersive experiences equip students with comprehensive knowledge of biological sciences, from molecular to ecological levels.
Our department features an undergraduate marine biology program where students complete foundational studies for two years at the main SJSU campus before advancing to specialized upper-level courses at our Moss Landing facility in Monterey. Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
