The Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, provided by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, is ideal for students who relish tackling challenges and wish to utilize their problem-solving abilities combined with communication and analytical skills in their professional lives. This program also serves as a strong foundation for advanced studies in mathematics and various other fields such as law, medicine, engineering, and science.
To earn this degree, students must complete 30 upper-division credits in mathematics and computer science. If transfer courses from lower-division studies fulfill these upper-division requirements, students will need to take supplementary upper-level math courses to meet the total credit requirement.
Students must Earn a high school diploma, or equivalent and earn the equivalent of a U.S. 3.0 grade point average (GPA) or an average of “B” grades. Successfully complete three years of college preparatory mathematics with a minimum grade of “C-” or better.
English Language Requirements: IELTS - 6.0, TOEFL – 61 (IBT), Paper based – 500; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 44.
