Our Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) program equips you with expertise in financial accounting, taxation, auditing, managerial accounting, and accounting information systems, preparing you for diverse roles in accounting, auditing, and financial management.
The MSA program delivers an advanced accounting education with concentrations in financial reporting, taxation, audit practices, management accounting, and accounting technology systems. Beyond the required ACCT 890 (3 credits), students must complete nine credits of 800-level graduate accounting courses. The remaining 18 credits can be chosen from relevant graduate and undergraduate offerings, subject to advisor approval. Note: ACCT 800 and 801 cannot be taken for credit if ACCT 301/302 (or equivalents) have been completed - in such cases, two additional 800-level courses must be taken instead. Students without prior accounting or business education may require supplementary coursework to meet the 150-hour CPA licensure standards.
