The Biology Department offers both undergraduate and graduate programs spanning the full spectrum of biological sciences. Curriculum options extend from fundamental biology courses to advanced studies across major biological fields. To guide students in selecting suitable academic paths, the department has organized its offerings into specialized focus areas. Currently, all Biology specializations are oversubscribed, with applicant numbers exceeding available spots. This physiology-focused track aims to deliver a solid grounding in physiological principles. The concentration caters to students pursuing vertebrate, invertebrate, or plant physiology studies. It's particularly valuable for those planning postgraduate education or careers in healthcare fields. Alongside core physiology coursework, the department provides supporting classes for nursing, clinical sciences, exercise physiology, kinesiology, and physical therapy programs.

You are considered a freshman applicant if you will have a high school diploma or GED and have not enrolled at any college or university beyond the summer immediately following your high school graduation.
