The American Sign Language and Interpreting Program in the Languages SAC Department delivers high-quality education in ASL and interpreting through an extensive curriculum. This includes courses on ASL, Deaf Culture, and interpretation techniques, among others. The program creates an immersive learning environment that equips students with the skills needed to serve as interpreters or deaf support specialists for the Deaf community. Additionally, ASL classes fulfill foreign language requirements and may be transferred as university credits.
