Students enrolled in the combined Bachelor's-Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) program complete both degrees within 427 months. The curriculum includes four years of undergraduate coursework leading to a bachelor's degree in Biology, Health Science, Exercise Science, or Neuroscience, along with fulfilling all Physician Assistant (PA) program prerequisites. After obtaining their bachelor's degree, qualified students advance directly into the 27-month MSPAS graduate program, provided they maintain the program's academic standards throughout their undergraduate education.
Applicants must apply to the MSPAS Dual Degree program as first-time college freshmen, gaining simultaneous admission to both the undergraduate and graduate programs. This early admission guarantees their place in the graduate PA program from their first year, with defined academic benchmarks to maintain for continued progression.
Through guidance from their undergraduate advisors and participation in College of Health Professions initiatives, students receive comprehensive support to successfully transition into their graduate studies.
