Incoming freshmen can apply for the dual degree program, gaining simultaneous admission to both undergraduate and graduate studies. These students secure a spot in the Master of Science in Computer Science & Information Technology program as long as they maintain the required academic standards during their undergraduate years. Their graduate program seat is reserved starting from their first year, with defined milestones to advance. Alongside guidance from undergraduate advisors, engagement with Welch College of Business & Technology initiatives and CSIT faculty-led activities helps ensure a smooth transition to graduate-level work. The CSIT Dual Degree Program allows students to obtain both a Bachelor's and Master of Science in Computer Science & Information Technology within five years—completing undergraduate requirements in four years and graduate studies in one additional year.
