Students can enroll in the dual degree program as first-year applicants, gaining simultaneous acceptance into both undergraduate and graduate studies. Those in the dual degree track secure a spot in the Master of Science in Exercise & Sport Science program, provided they maintain program-specific requirements throughout their undergraduate studies. This ensures reserved graduate placement from their first year, with transparent benchmarks for advancement.
With guidance from undergraduate advisors, students benefit from engagement with the College of Health Professions, involvement in Exercise & Sport Science program activities, and mentorship from graduate faculty—all fostering a smooth transition to graduate-level work.
Dual degree candidates may earn up to seven graduate credits during their undergraduate studies, applying them toward both degrees. This allows students to reduce graduate tuition costs, as these credits are covered under full-time undergraduate tuition.
