The Collaborative Piano Program equips students for professional partnership careers, offering specialized tracks in either vocal or instrumental performance based on personal preference. The vocal track provides thorough training in language and diction for art song repertoire within a performance-focused setting. For the instrumental track, the curriculum centers on chamber music and sonata repertoire. Our distinguished collaborative piano faculty members bring extensive global performance experience, having worked with elite vocalists and instrumentalists while delivering exceptional instruction. Students in this program can choose between Vocal Specialization or Instrumental Specialization tracks. Beyond intensive collaborative training, participants enjoy numerous performance opportunities both on campus and throughout Chicago's dynamic music landscape.
