Tailored for adult learners, our Interdisciplinary Studies program enables you to earn your bachelor's degree online at a lower cost while equipping you for career advancement. Choose from focus areas such as criminal justice, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or psychology. The program accepts transfer credits from accredited institutions and recognizes relevant work experience toward degree completion. Roosevelt University's ACE BA in Interdisciplinary Studies is specifically structured for returning adult students aged 25+, offering a comprehensive interdisciplinary foundation with customizable concentration areas advised by faculty. Within their chosen specialization (business, criminal justice, healthcare administration, or psychology), students complete 15-18 credit hours. A unique portfolio development course helps students document prior learning, which may count toward general education requirements. Eligible students can apply up to 25% of prior learning credits toward their degree, provided their final 30 credits are completed at Roosevelt. Through this portfolio process, students articulate how their previous training and professional experiences align with specific course outcomes, with credit evaluations conducted by faculty in the relevant academic discipline.
