The Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) program is designed for students whose academic, professional, or civic goals benefit from cross-disciplinary learning approaches. The IDS program centers on a specialized concentration affiliated with one of Quinnipiac University's academic departments. While multiple concentration options are being developed, currently only the Education Studies track is available, tailored for those following the elementary education pathway toward a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT). Students interested in alternative interdisciplinary focuses may explore creating an independent major.
