This visual communications program provides a thorough exploration of graphic, interactive, and motion design convergence. Students will concentrate on developing user-focused designs for digital interfaces across various platforms. These may encompass smartphones, vehicle dashboards, healthcare equipment, wearable technology, and beyond. The curriculum emphasizes UX design by integrating perspectives from multiple design disciplines. Students can specialize or blend coursework from communication design, interaction design, motion graphics, and design theory. To be considered for admission to the MFA program in visual communication design, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
