The interdisciplinary PhD program in microsystems engineering integrates core principles from conventional engineering and science with specialized coursework and research focused on the technical complexities of micro- and nano-scale systems. This encompasses working with electrical, photonic, optical, mechanical, chemical, and biological properties to create devices that interact with and analyze the world at the nanometer level. Qualification Requirements
To be considered for admission to the doctorate program in microsystems engineering, candidates must complete a graduate application and fulfill the following requirements:

Hold a baccalaureate degree (or US equivalent) from an accredited university or college in the physical sciences or engineering.
Recommended minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
Submit a current resume or curriculum vitae.
