After finishing the MBE program, students in the Applied Bioengineering specialization will be equipped to: Utilize and combine advanced Bioengineering concepts in one or more of these fields: Biomaterials and Drug Delivery, Biomedical Imaging and Diagnostics, Computational and Theoretical Bioengineering, Tissue Engineering and Biomechanics, or Systems and Synthetic Biology. Employ engineering and interdisciplinary knowledge to recognize, define, and address innovative and challenging problems requiring specialized bioengineering expertise. Choose and implement quantitative analysis methods to evaluate bioengineering data. Secure acceptance into graduate or professional programs for those wishing to continue their education.
