The Global Christianity concentration offers doctoral education centered on Christianity's emergence, expansion, and its societal and cross-cultural manifestations worldwide. This global approach incorporates current theoretical advancements in religious studies and interpretation, alongside social science methodologies, to examine what scholars often term the Christian tradition, the World Christian movement, or World Christianity. The program aims to critically analyze Christianity as an international phenomenon, exploring its origins and contemporary practices from a worldwide viewpoint.

In general, applicants should have at least a 3.0 (B) grade point average, or the equivalent, in their undergraduate work.
