Our EEPS planetary science studies explore how rocky planets form and change, both within our solar system and in distant star systems. We examine factors influencing planetary habitability across time. Using Earth-based knowledge of volcanic activity, rock formation, chemical processes, and planetary dynamics, we analyze the composition and development of meteorites, Mars, and planets orbiting other stars.
