Our two-year MFA in Photography helps you refine both visual and analytical skills through coursework, seminars, independent studio projects, and critique sessions. This comprehensive approach fosters a thorough grasp of modern artistic methods and critical theory. With dedicated studio space and cutting-edge facilities at your disposal, you can experiment with traditional film photography, digital imaging, video production, and multimedia creation. While developing a cohesive portfolio that reflects an in-depth exploration of concepts, you'll also master articulating your artistic vision verbally and in writing, situating your practice within art historical and theoretical frameworks. Students establish and meet personal creative objectives while gaining professional experience through teaching, gallery shows, photographic assisting, or studio management.
