Establishing an undergraduate base in fields like sociology, criminal justice, gerontology, or psychology opens doors to diverse career paths—from mental health counseling and addiction treatment to social service management and urban policy development. Graduates gain preparation for roles across multiple environments, including educational institutions and medical facilities, becoming advocates for vulnerable groups such as troubled youth, military veterans, incarcerated individuals, and senior citizens.
Participants in this accelerated program finish undergraduate requirements in three years, commencing graduate coursework during their third year before transitioning to the School of Health Sciences for the final two years to complete their MSW and licensure preparation. Dedicated faculty advisors guide each student through personalized academic planning to ensure efficient completion of both degrees.
