Purdue University Northwest offers an organizational leadership and supervision major with a specialized track in project leadership for construction trades, designed to prepare construction professionals for supervisory roles. This program integrates coursework from PNW's Organizational Leadership and Supervision (OLS) and Construction Management and Engineering Technology (CEMT) programs. Participants gain essential leadership abilities alongside critical construction management competencies required for modern construction superintendents. The curriculum includes a mix of general education requirements, core technology courses, and organizational leadership classes. Students develop versatile leadership capabilities applicable to diverse environments, from tech-driven companies to international teams navigating organizational transitions.
Program alumni often secure positions as corporate executives, project leaders, operations supervisors, scheduling coordinators, HR professionals, business managers, and recruitment supervisors.
Applicants must have official high school transcript(s) or GED test score report.
Test scores: Internet Based TOEFL (iBT) - 79 or higher; IELTS with a score of at least 6.5 or higher; British O-Level English Language Exam with a Grade of A or B on Ordinary Level of GCE/GCSE/IGCSE. PNW Undergraduate Admissions accepts a 100-110 Duolingo English Test score band.
