The foodservice sector stands as the largest private employer in the country. For those with business acumen and culinary enthusiasm, our exceptional program focuses on design, catering, franchise growth, culinary arts, financial management, and beyond. Learners will acquire essential techniques and industry standards to maximize profitability, along with leadership and operational tactics to enhance business performance and team management. The Bachelor of Science in Restaurant and Foodservice Management includes three paid internships, allowing students to implement classroom knowledge under the guidance of experienced faculty members. Graduates will emerge with comprehensive, practical expertise in the Restaurant and Foodservice field, gained through both academic study and real-world application.

The Restaurant & Food Service Management (BS) program can be pursued entirely online, though some elective choices or prerequisite courses might not be available digitally. New students opting for this fully online track through UCF may qualify for reduced campus-related fees.

Qualification Requirements

Students whose first language is not English may be required to demonstrate English proficiency by one of the following means:
Proving youre from a country where English is the only official language
Establishing that a prior bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree was earned from another accredited institution of higher education (meeting university transfer eligibility requirements) in the United States
Establishing that a prior bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree was earned from a country where English is the only official language or from a university at which English is the only official language of instruction
Submitting a qualifying score (220 or higher for computer-based, 80 or higher for internet-based or 550 or higher for paper-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or a score of 6.5 or higher on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
A minimum 520 EBRW rSAT score, 480 Critical Reading SAT score, 20 ACT (English section), or 42 CLT (Verbal Reasoning plus Grammar/Writing)
Presenting a minimum grade of B in both English Composition I and English Composition II, or the equivalent, taken at another accredited institution of higher education (meeting university transfer eligibility requirements) in the United States
Completion of four years of English in an American high school in the United States
