The Mechanical Engineering Technology program aims to offer career-focused education for students with a practical, application-oriented mindset. The Bachelor of Science degree equips graduates for technical roles across manufacturing and production sectors. Degree holders pursue diverse industrial careers in product development, manufacturing, production, supervision, and plant management, with many advancing to senior leadership roles. The curriculum's core objective is to build a strong technical base, empowering graduates to adapt and excel in varied employment settings, including Industry 4.0 contexts. Students undertake a Senior Design Project—a year-long capstone endeavor, either solo or team-based, guiding an idea from concept through design to a functional, presentable outcome.
Involvement in nationally competitive student clubs helps students enhance their project management abilities and collaborative skills.
