The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences (VCS), part of Purdue University's Graduate School, provides advanced degree programs for both Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidates. Students can engage in translational research across diverse clinical and scientific disciplines such as anesthesiology, pain management, animal behavior, cardiology, clinical epidemiology, population health, veterinary dentistry, diagnostic imaging (radiology), internal medicine for large and small animals, surgical specialties, oncology, ophthalmology, production medicine (focusing on ruminants and swine), radiation oncology, and theriogenology.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants are ordinarily expected to hold a bachelor's degree from a college or university of recognized standing prior to registration, and should have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or higher.
